The ultimate irony: delaying a flight for "customer service"

I'm pissed. It's my 18th birthday today. Last night I found out my flight home got cancled less than 14 hours before it was supposed to take off. Thankfully (or so I thought) we got on another flight.

it's just gotten shittier since. The new flight got delayed at first for half an hour. Turns out the arriving flight had a few sick (read vomiting) passengers. Whatever 30 minutes isn't that bad. It became an hour to clean up the puke. Then upon boarding, guess who has the puke seat. Yep. Me. A whole hour cleaning and it still smells like fucking vomit. Now we've boarded. It's 3:30, everybody's on, the original departure time was 10 minutes ago. Still waiting... Why? "mechanical problems". Apparently they had to replace oxygen masks and the like. Whatever. No. It's all bullshit. It was to let on late first class passengers. Whatever. It's 4 now. Why haven't we left yet. More mechanical problems. Jk. They are waiting for 30 new passengers to arrive because fuck me. Yeah. It's now 5:10, we haven't left the gate yet. It's snowing furiously, we still need to get de iced. I'm pissed. Happy birthday. Fuck you United.
